The genus Kunzea belongs to the myrtle family and contains about 35 species, most with highly colourful flowers which attract honeyeaters and insectivorous birds in spring. K pulchella grows to 3m.

These shots were taken at the nursery of John and Mary Squires near the wonderfully named Mukinbudin, inland Western Australia.
