These shots of the Australian native plant Calectasia cyanea were taken in the Grampians/Gariwerd State Park in the state of Victoria. C cyanea is a relative of C grandiflora, also called 'Star of Bethlehem'. As the flowers age, their colour changes from vivid blue to a rich bronzed purple.
